I wrote him. He hasn't answered me back.

Thanks, Carmel. I loved publishing, but it became prohibitively expensive to market. Both my son and I have scripts from books we've written, so there is a chance that writing and publishing aren't completely finished. If they get picked up, I think we'll be back to writing.
However, I have tons of experience, and if anybody has a question, I am happy to answer.

I'll write him and see.

lol. Thanks, Anna. I learned a lot from the folks at Goodreads too. I often suggest to budding writers they come here and learn from those who have started the process before them.
I wish we could get our thread back to discussions rather than a bid to get others to read their books.

Hi Anna, I was just wondering the same thing. I miss our old group. I stopped writing as Carole P. Roman or Brit Lunden. I've been a medium for the last two years and have made more doing that than selling my books. lol. I published under my real name (Phyllis Okon) late last year two books about mediumship and 366 Affirmations and Inspirations to Live By. While the books don't do especially well, teaching mediumship has paid off, and I am currently running three classes. I write regularly on Medium.com and have over 4500 followers. YOu can look me up on Facebook as Lady Phyllis Medium or check out my webpage
www.ladyphyllis.com. I recently ran a seminar on how to write, publish and promote your book. I had over ten participants and it was a lot of fun. I think writing got me to this point.

I believe they should. I think they also need a FB, Insta, TikToc, blog, and any other means for people to be able to read about them professionally. I think it should contain nothing personal.

BTW, I joined that podcast group and have gotten at least six or seven queries for podcasts. Some of them a not great ones, but hey, publicity is publicity.

Congrats!!

Usually, they contact you and ask you to be on their podcast. You have to look for podcasts you think will serve your audience and write to them asking if you can do an appearance. That's what marketing and publicity people do for you. They search out magazines, YouTube, and podcasts and pitch you to them.
I have been on many podcasts lately in my work role as an author and a medium. They approached me and send a request.

Your books would make great stocking stuffers!!

I know. It's nuts. Wait until they completely run out of content to watch. They're airing thirty years old television shows.

It's one of the issues of the strike in Hollywood.

Thanks, Anna!!! You're the best!!

Thanks Ben!!

That's what the actors and writers are stuck on with the strike.

I saw it last week

Thanks for posting, Ted.

Thanks, my friends!!! It made it to first place. I'm very excited.

I was just informed that my book, Henrietta Hedgehog's Prickly Problem is trending!

I never had much luck with in-person events. I post almost daily on Facebook, Tik Toc, and Instagram to keep book sales going. I do notice that I sell a book or two when I put something on FB and then share it to a like-minded group.
