The plot is that aliens suddenly took over Earth. You are given a choice. Enter the "Dungeon" and play their game. ..."I am reading this too right now. I am on book 3 I think (the one with the trains ) I haven't really done any gaming so I thought I might be put off by the LitRPG aspect, but the reward parts are actually pretty funny.

I just finished a fun audio
Dragon Heist A washed up voice actress ends up the representative for a misfit dragon in a alternate world where dragons have taken over. The dragon has a plan to pull a heist to embarrass a powerful clan to show that humans can stand up to dragons but he needs a very specific "crew" to succeed: a fighter, an archer, a giant and a mage.
Collecting the crew was entertaining and the questlike nature if the heist was too.
Not sure if it is on audible plus, but it is KU.

It is the first book of a trilogy so I expect a cliffhang..."Ah, i didn't notice that the second book was out already. And with how fast this year is zooming by, November and the 3rd book is just a blink away.

Yikes I just saw this!
The Black Dagger Brotherhood: 20th Anniversary Insider's Guide out in December.
Can't believe it's been 20 years.

I finished all of the Urban Shaman books that are in Kindle Unlimited so far. Looks like the last ones will be released to KU over the rest of the year, so I guess I'm done for now. I thought that they were definitely worth revisiting the series. I didn't remember a much of the plots but did have a sense of who the bad guys were once they turned up in the stories.
Now i need something else to keep me entertained.

Inheritance does sound good, but I see cliffhanger in the reviews. You all have to let us know how bad a cliffhanger.

I am on to the 5th urban shaman book. I am also not reading much lately, but am still enjoying the reread.

I made it through the first 3, urban shaman books. They're pretty good. This third book I finally remembered where they plot was going - the others not so much.

Did anybody get to watch Murderbot Diaries? I don't have appleTV or I would have:(

If you have prime, Gena Showalter has a book in the first reads freebies.
Kingdom of Tomorrow I haven't read her in years but thought I'd give it a try.
I am enjoying the 1st Urban shaman book so far. Not to far in and I really don't remember where it is going though some if the side characters are familiar. And more familiar than the MC like Doug said.

Swordheart
Clocktaur War books 1 and 2."I enjoyed those too:)

I haven't been doing a good job of managing my currently reading shelf here on goodreads. I had 45 books on it this morning - most of them abandoned- I dnf a lot these days, I really have a narrow sweet spot it seems

I love oracle's moon too! It was one of the few books I reread when I didn't do rereads. Now I'm finding that it's been long enough that I can reread stuff from the early PNR and UF days and it's like reading them for they first time ;) I was thinking of trying to reread the Urban Shaman books - don't remember anything about the series except the cabdriver (?) Gary.
It's kind of neat that some of the older stuff is KU now.

I see there is a new Lyndsay Sands Argeneau book out. Number 37! Is anyone still reading these? I fell away from the series at least 10 books back, I think.

The old amazon paranormal forum group started in 2009. Fortunately most of us made the migration here when amazon ditched the forums. It's been nice having all of you to chat with for so many years.

I have noise canceling head phones so I can vacuum, and do dishes and such while listening- If I think someone might need me I leave one ear partly uncovered. It also motivates me to actually to actually get things done.

Congrats Lab, your store looks lovely from your Facebook page. If I lived anywhere remotely in your neck of the woods, I'd be there all the time :)
