29041 I recently found this movie on YouTube, as I was looking to see the movies of Richard Widmark that I've never seen.
This reminded me a lot of "Ice Station Zebra" and was interesting. I liked the story, but the movie didn't build the characters enough to make it really interesting.

29041 I recently watched "The Falcon and the Snowman" (1985) directed by John Schlesinger and starring Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn.

This was an interesting movie, based on a true story, of two college aged students who get involved with the CIA. It does show the boring and monotonous life of a typical CIA analyst who's job is to receive reports, add context and then send those reports somewhere else, never knowing the results of the operation.
It's a slow burn movie that is interesting and an event I never knew of until I watched this movie. The acting is excellent, particularly Sean Penn as he begins to lose control.

29041 Albany, NY.

Decided to join some more groups on here and I love spy thrillers beginning with Tom Clancy and then continuing with Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.

I just started a new author, Sean Parnell, and enjoyed his first book. I enjoyed his autobiography so was interested in his novels.
