[close] I can't hardly believe Thomas Tessier lost this fight. Anyway. It may be obscure but it's still B-R-U-T-A-L. People forget how tautly this was filmed and what it added to this flick. Peter Yates was no slouch at action scenes. Plus the racial under-theme. Egad.

[close] That's famed stunt driver and chase coordinator Bill Hickman at the wheel; and infamous screen heavy (ex-Marine in real life) Richard Lynch.

[close] This episode drags on a little long in the latter moments but the first two-thirds are beautiful. Michael Lonsdale as Grigoriev --you remember him as Inspector LeBel in 'Jackal'. What a performance.

[close] Nothin' like it (except maybe years earlier with James Cagney in "Blood On the Sun"). Frank Sinatra broke his hand fighting his much bigger, much brawnier co-star Henry Silva in this scene. A classic.
