can I combine two shelvings?

eg if there was Historical @ 15 shelvings and Historical-fiction @ 9 shelvings, could they be counted as 15+9 Historical?

The book i'm thinking of doesn't (yet) meet the 20 threshold, but I suspect it will as more people start reading it.

I'd recommend The Improbability of Love for this one: it follows a painting (who also has it's own sections of narration!) through time; if people are after more off-list ideas :)
