Just a reminder that all 10-point tasks are worth 10 points.

(Please post your points for completed tasks in the Completed Tasks topic. This Readerboard folder shows the current point standings of the challenge participants who have posted points. It's generally updated every week or so.)
Note: Please post your points frequently. Players who post many completed tasks the last week of the challenge may not have all their points tallied for inclusion on the Readerboard.

Please use the add book/author link for the book titles. When claiming combo points, tell how the book qualifies, and provide a link if requested in the task description.
If using an outside source to qualify a book for points or combo, please be sure to post in the appropriate task thread prior to posting in this thread.

It's at the very bottom of the new book page. It can take a bit of scrolling (and sometimes I have experienced a bit of lag), but the lists including the book should be at the bottom.

Read 10 books that fit your favorite 20-point tasks from prior seasons. You must state the season and the task (number and brief description) when posting your book claim.
List tasks will work as the list is now. If the task required prior approval, posting a link in the Completed Tasks thread when you claim the book will be sufficient. Older seasons especially may have links to outside sources that no longer work. Please post an updated link for these tasks or ask in the Help thread.
Scoring
20.1-20.10: 20 points
Bonuses (one only):
50 points: 10 tasks, your choice (can double up on a task)
75 points: All one task
75 points: 10 different tasks (could read more than one from a season)
100 points: 10 tasks from 10 different seasons

Read a book of your choice. Pick a listopia associated with your book. Your book could be anywhere on the Listopia. The example below is that the first book in the chain happens to be #1 on the Listopia, but that is not required. Choose your Listopia carefully, because your Book #2 must be in the Top 100 of that linking Listopia.
Find another Listopia where your second book is in any position. On that new Listopia, your third book will be in the Top 100. And so on.

Finisher Bonus 100 points

1. 10-point task creation -- the top three readers for the Summer 2023 Challenge, as determined by overall points, will each get to create a 10-point task for the Fall 2023 Challenge. (We will use the top 3 finishers who are not already creating a task for the Fall season).
2. Random -- All participants (except mods) who claim at least five books during the Summer 2023 season will be automatically entered into a drawing for a $25 US Amazon gift card to be awarded at the beginning of the Fall 2023 season. As this will repeat from season to season, the winner will not have won the drawing in either of the two previous seasons.
* although participants may be eligible for multiple rewards, only one will be granted per challenge. (Random excepted)
* Participants that create tasks for three consecutive challenges are ineligible for a task-creation reward on the fourth. Instead, the member will be asked to submit a group read book. Eligibility is reinstated on the following challenge.

With the continuation of our all sub-challenge season, this is a much shorter list than other seasons.
1. Before 1998 (5 points): Read a book originally published in 1998 or earlier.
2. Big (5 points): Read a book with 500 or more pages.
For this summer season, we will be suspending our lexile rules. Now is the time to dust off those titles that have not made the cut in previous seasons and get them read!

Please post any discussion about the 15-point challenge in this thread.

June, July and August are the 6th, 7th and 8th months of the year. Let's play with those numbers.
Read 10 books, where 6, 7 or 8 letters/words meet one of the criteria below. Authors may be repeated at any time.
Although numbered as a regular season, this is like a regular sub-challenge. For each round, you must read for each of the "tasks" without repeating any of them.
10.1. Number of letters in author's first or last name
10.2. Number of words in title
10.3. Number of words in subtitle
10.4. Number of letters in a title word (title only, but book can have a subtitle)
10.5. Number of letters in setting, city/state/country (Setting is at least 51%)
10.6. Number is in year of Author birth
10.7. Number is in original pub date
10.8. Number is in MPE page count
10.9. Author first/last name begins with the 6th, 7th, 8th letter of the alphabet (F, G, H)
10.10. Title begins with the 6th, 7th, 8th letter of the alphabet (F, G, H). Leading articles of The, A, and An can be ignored.
Scoring:
10.1-10.10: 10 points
100 point finisher bonus
