We took a little break from the themes, but I am going to start them again with the next round of nominations.

The Name of the Wind is a great choice. I'll add
Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb
Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
Riyria Revelations by Michael J Sullivan
For SciFi, I really haven't read a ton. Just finished Feersum Enjinn by Iain M. Banks and will certainly read more of his work. Also enjoyed:
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
Old Man'sWar by John Scalzi
Altered Carbon by a by Richard K. Morgan

Some of the many, many words I have found:
beast
master
player
myth
glass
game
mage
message
amber
thermal
shame
I could go on an on. Lots of words, but I'm not coming up with a title :(

Nominations this round will be for our August book.
September will be open nominations (no theme, anything fantasy qualifies).
October will be Dark Fantasy. But we may need to get a bit of a discussion/definition going on what to expect for that.

I wont make a new one until I know if this guess is correct or not. :)

Low Town/Straight Razor Cure is good though. I haven't read Feed or Kraken, but of the ones I have read, I'd probably order them First Law, Mistborn, Low Town, Nights of Villjamur. But could depend on what your in the mood for. Dark/gritty - Abercrombie, lots of magic - Mistborn.
NoV is the only one I never recommend. I know other people love it, but found it frustratingly boring at times. As soon as I would get interested, it would change POV to something I was not interested in. Frustrating. And boring. The concept was cool though. And some really like it ...I found it ... meh.
