Hello again, Serial Readers! I apologize for my absence but everyone's challenges have been updated now and we should be getting back to our regularly scheduled programming.

58421 Wow! Everyone did such a great job. I’m so proud of my team and everyone else that helped make this readathon so fun!

Congratulations to all the individual winners, too!!

58421 All my books should be in the spreadsheet!

Thank you so much to Janine and Lisa Marie for leading our team and to everyone else for being such awesome teammates!! I had a ton of fun reading alongside you all, I hope to see you in future readathons! ☺️

58421 Great job, Tome Travellers!!

I’m on track to finish The Great Gatsby today (about 1.5h listening time left) but I probably won’t finish anything else today. I’ve had such a great time reading with you all and getting caught back up on my reading challenges. This has been an incredible team to be a part of and I’m so grateful for all of you 🤗

58421 Ended up starting Gatsby last night so I’m definitely on track to finish it by Sunday! Are there any other prompts we need help with? I can try and find a quick audiobook to squeeze in for the end of my weekend.

This is fantastic! I’ve finished The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and Carrot Cake Murder. I’ll go update the spreadsheet now. Almost done with I Was a Teenage Slasher so I’ll be starting The Great Gatsby hopefully tomorrow!

Great question! I would say the kindle edition that you’re reading (with the same ISBN) would be the preferred edition for page count. So the page count according to goodreads rather than the number that your device calculates. I always encourage readathoners to use your best judgment and if the page count feels wildly off one way or another do what you think is the most fair.

This is just my answer while Theresa is temporarily unavailable. When she returns she may want to change things up. I hope you and your team are having fun reading regardless! 😄

58421 I could probably listen to The Great Gatsby before Sunday is over for the 1920s prompt if we wanted to move some books around. I’ll let you take the lead, Janine!

58421 I can take the 80s prompt with I Was a Teenage Slasher after I finish up Carrot Cake Murder and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon! I’ve got about 30% left of both of those.

Thank you for making that list, Janine! It was super helpful 🖤

58421 We’re doing fantastic so far, Team!!

I finished Slaughterhouse-Five earlier this morning and now I’m moving onto The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I’ve some errands to run this afternoon so I may not finish it today but hopefully early in the week I will. We got this!

58421 Whoops! Thank you for moving that Janine! I did only listen to that weirdly specific number of “pages” for the readathon so yes that was meant to go in the page point column.

And thank you for going through our spreadsheet and highlighting things! Looking forward to browsing through it and seeing where I could be helpful if I finish everything on my tbr 😁

58421 Go Team Tome Travellers!!

I’m working on finishing Skeleron Crew today (about 30 mins left now). Hopefully I’ll be able to finish Babel-17 tomorrow since I only have ~50% left. We’re off to a great start!!

58421 Woohoo! We’re almost to the start of our reading! I’ve been getting my books “prepped” for Friday—borrowing on Libby, listening to as much of the longer audiobooks as I can, and calculating how many pages each of my audiobooks will count for. I’ll take a look at the spreadsheet sometime and choose some extra books to add to my tbr in case I finish all the ones I haven’t planned before the end of the readathon.

Let’s go Tome Travellers!! 🧳📖
