67615 ok....

Twilight is the first romance book i've ever read and the frist book i've ever read with vamps and werewolves. I really like the way it was written, as though YOU were bella.

also i hated the fact that...after like a week bella and ed start dateing and she already wants to 'vamp' herself to be with him forever and after only a few month (in new moon) she starts getting depressed over a person that has put her in danger and she geos all zombie just 'cause of a guy sshe met in less than a year before, THEN she falls in love with jacob ..ugh don't get me started! then renesme... firstly, who calls their kid after both yours and your lovers name?! seriously?!

67615 i know why twilight was called twilight, each of the books mentioned the title at least once in the book.
this is what she wrote: (the auther:)

Why did you pick the title Twilight?

Twilight was not the easiest book to title. When I started sending out queries, I called it Forks for lack of a better idea. The first thing my agent advised me was that the title was going to have to change. We played around with a lot of different titles, and nothing seemed to convey the right feel. We brainstormed through emails for about a week. The word twilight was on a list of "words with atmosphere" that I sent her. Though these words were meant to be used in combination with something else, the word twilight stood out to both of us. We decided to try it out, and, after a little adjustment time, it started to work for both of us. It isn't absolutely perfect; to be honest, I don't think there is a perfect title for this book (or if there is, I've never heard it). When I look at the titles other countries have used (examples: Germany: Bis zum Morgengrauen which is "Until Dawn" or "Bite" if you add an "s" to make it "biss" (if you look at the German book cover on the Twilight International page); Finland: "Temptation;" France: "Fascination;" and Japan, which has split it into three separate books: "The Boy Whom I Love is a Vampire," "Blood Tastes Sadness," and "The Vampire Family in the Darkness."), it seems like I might be right about that. (Both New Moon and Eclipse were much easier to title, and the titles also fit better.)

67615 lol :D thanks.. ugh my fatal flaw is indecision...(and procrustination) ..hmm...can't you choose for me? oh i know! can there be a vice-head mod.. i have made lots of polls and replyed in all of the topics at least once and i have read HP 2wice and twilight...and i DO like both.. i mean.. a mod shouldn't be someone who only likes one of them, 'cause then they'd be baiased

67615 Harry potter is about more than romance, i like books that have adventure, action, fantasy and romance, yes , but romance not being the major genre! Harry potter got me reading in the middle of the night (this book was the reason i started reading books at night) even though my neck got caught once from doing that :/ i couldn't move :/..um...i went through a lot with this series (like getting grounded 'cause i was reading it at night XP) and it has hidden details that only by reading it for a second time would i have noticed
