Your moderater is very lenient. Haha yeah Ive been so busy lately. Yeah that would be fine David. I started this group because there were no other groups about the legend of Drizzt. There are a few others now that are more fantasy based groups that feature Drizzt in their topics, but if you want to "cross post" that could benefit both groups so feel free.

Who is the coolest character? Which is the best? We all know of Drizzt's prowess with blades but what of Jarlaxle's cool demeaner and the way he makes every plan work out in his favor? Or Entreri's determination and dexterity. Is it Drizzt, Artemis Entreri, or Jarlaxle? Or maybe you have a different character you prefer.

I understand that he borrowed the place and setting but almost everything about is the same. When they get their the hall has been taken over by someone. There is also a "balrog" in charge of mithril hall and at the end bruenr rides the beast down a big chasm, just like in The lord od the rings. The one difference is that in LOTR they are passing through, not trying to re-claim it. But thats about it.

I just finished the Streams of Silver and noticed how sililar mithril hall was to the mines of moria in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Did anyone else notice that too?

Really. Try imagining Orlando Bloom with dark skin and white hair.

No dont spoil!! lol when do those books take place chronologically?

that looks awsome. too bad, i have a lot of books to read before i get to that one.

yeah i always forget about those. I started over because i was reading the hunters blades but i waited on the last one and instead started the legend of drizzt

ill just post the list again because people still need to know.

Sojourn
The Crystal Shard
Streams of Silver
The Halfing's Gem
The Legacy

I think thats it...

yeah thats true. I sometimes found myself forgetting that their in complete darkness while Im reading.
But hollywood always has some way of making things work. Special effects wise.

i dont think there should be a movie. I mean it would be cool, but hollywood has destroyed so many books. just look at the eragon movie.

a question comes to mind, why haven't they made movies for these books? its a very long series but they could make a few movies and see how they do

I think my pic well describes me, i like using anything to my advantage. and sometimes winning means breaking the rules.

is it true that the hunters blades trilogy is the most well known? because i know three people besides me that read that book first.

yea im the only jeremy i know. there arent a lot of us, but i agree with jeremy, great minds do think alike.

this game couod be easy if you just look up the answers in the books. of ourse there are a lot of books. i could only answer questions from the hunters blades trilogy.

i dont know how many books you can write about drizzt. 20 is a lot but if you keep going the stories might be forced. not ideas popping into salvatores head but him just trying to sell another book.

yea. Ive never played D&D and I'm still a teen so i think theres a lot of fans of the series.

oh yeah there are. its not the biggest series ever but its big enough.

wow. i heard about them from a friend who owned the lone drow and said it was awsome and then my language teacher in 8th grade was a big fan.
