I am reading and almost finished with
Half Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls for my neighborhood book club.

1. Diet Pepsi
2. Margarita
Two favorite children's books?

1. Going to movies
2. Gardening
Two favorite Halloween movies?

Just started
The Zookeeper's Wife: A War Story by Diane Ackerman for my in person book club.
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson for my in person book club.

Vince, congratulations on finishing your list.

I know I have let my TBR shelf get out of hand with too many books. I don't think I will live long enough to read them all! I think I will blame Goodreads for this situation since I have found so many interesting books on this site. LOL I am thinking about prioritizing the books into different shelves so I can find and read the most interesting ones first. Maybe a TBR-must read, TBR-read next, and TBR-if I have time, but I may change these shelf titles.

I finished both
The Last Child by John Hart and
The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. I would highly recommend both of these books to anyone who likes mystery/thrillers.

Finished
and loved it! Can't wait to read the next in the trilogy. I am now reading
by Jodi Picoult.

1. Gone With the Wind
2. Forrest Gump
Two favorite vacation spots?

Beth wrote: "Alanna, I'd love to belong to an in-person book club. I was invited to one by someone I met on the school playground but I didn't feel right because I literally had just met this person and I thou..."Beth, you should start your own. Just start with a couple friends and then they can invite a couple of friends and soon you have your club. I started my club two years ago and we have only 8 people but find that is enough. We really enjoy it and they all have said they have read some great books that they never would have picked on their own. Also, some libraries have book clubs you can go to.

When my neighborhood book club meets we always have food and drinks while we discuss the book. If possible, it is fun to try and have foods that are appropriate for the book selection of the month.

Finished
by John Hart. Now, I am starting
by Stieg Larsson for my neighborhood bookclub in August.

What's sad is that there are still many that I want that I haven't even added to this list."Oh, Kathy I know what you mean. I have so many I want to read that I have been resisting looking at the books I see on Goodreads.

I am kinda on a self-imposed book ban but will be getting
The Girl Who Played with Fireon my Kindle soon. After that I will get
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest because I am reading the trilogy for my neighborhood book club.

Sorry all you tea drinkers, I don't drink tea or coffee. The only hot drink I like is hot chocolate and only in the winter. I try not to eat when I read because then I end up mindlessly eating if you know what I mean.

Today I am starting
The Last Child by John Hart. I won it in a Goodreads giveaway.
