7638 LOVE this plan! I'm not sure how I missed this post but I'm excited about the plan for the year!

7638 YAY! So excited for these. Well, for two of them. I didn't love The Once and Future Witches when I tried to read it (I put it down after 25%) but I suspect it was ME, not the book. But, the other two are both sitting in my want to read soon pile so I'm excited for this push to pick them up sooner rather than later!

7638 I've been meaning to read Special Topics, Tanya! That's a great one for this theme!

I don't think this has been a Bee book previously -

Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1) by Tomi Adeyemi Children of Blood and Bone (544 pages)

7638 Thank you, Barb, for the amazing gifts! You made my holiday season!

I'm so excited to read When No One is Watching and Practical Magic!! They are on my bedside stand now!

And I'm SO happy to now have The Enchanted and The Butterfly Girl in my collection! Both are amazing and I am excited to be able to go back and re-read them!

And the Bee Happy mug is perfection! LOVE it and had my coffee in it this morning! Thank you so much for everything! It was a lovely surprise in a year that just didn't feel like Christmas!

7638 Oh Lisa! I'm so sorry to hear about your COVID diagnosis. We have also been very vigilant but my daughter still tested positive & we have no idea how. She had a really rough few days but moved through it fairly quickly. I hope that your experience isn't too bad. I will keep you (and your son) in my thoughts. My daughter said the taste/smell symptom was very offputting. Please take care and keep us posted!

7638 My box arrived today and I am so excited! December 26th can't come fast enough! These will likely be the only bookish presents that I open this year. I look forward to it every year! Thank you, Secret Bee!

7638 LOVE this idea! Looks like you guys are having so much fun!
7638 I've had a great time watching you guys work through this challenge! It's been too crazy for me to participate this time but I love seeing all of the books you're reading!

7638 I've begun to think about what we might look at for our 2021 challenges. We will keep some of those we always do like the 12 Bee Books challenge. And the quarterly member's choice challenges have been well received. What would you like to see us do in 2021 - are there things you'd like to continue and are there new things you'd like to see!

7638 Bummer about the Americanah adaption ... I hope it gets picked up somewhere else.
7638 I loved this one! Hazel is unforgettable! She's a new favorite character for me!

7638 Yes, I hope you're feeling better, Tanya! I read one of these recently and it was sooo good! Hazel is one of my favorite characters now!

7638 I can't wait to read Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents which I hear is amazing! Glad to hear that you liked it, Tricia! White Fragility was a 5 star for me. It gave me a lot to think about!

7638 This is so interesting ... I find that I have to connect with at least one character but I don't have to like that character. There just has to be something there ... even if it's hard to describe what that something is!

7638 I really need to work on organizing my books. I finally got enough shelves to keep my books off the floor but I have basically been just shoving them onto the shelves to clear out our bedroom. I need to think about how I want to organize them ...

7638 Better late than never ... welcome (belatedly) to the group!
