Apparently there was actually a supreme court case about this, but in the end they ruled in favor of saying "under God."

I haven't been on Goodreads much lately but after starting a show called 30 Rock I started thinking about this debate. When I commented on this the first time I didn't know that a lot of porn advocates things like prostitution or sexism or rape, etc. Obviously not all porn is bad, but like almost everything, there are bad parts.
But anyways, I disagree with anyone mentioning anything about it being more okay for guys to watch pornography than girls. Why is it more okay?

If you had the option to choose your baby's features, would you? And should other people be allowed to?

And the disgusting and gradual decaying of your body, right?

I wouldn't want to witness the end of the world personally. Also if I were able to live forever would my body keep aging, so that I'd have to live with white hair and arthritis and a metal hip or would I stay young, and watch as my children all surpassed me in age?

I don't even care about the YouTube hooked with Google+ thing. I just want Google to allow me to have multiple accounts on one email. They keep trying to get me to transfer from my original YouTube account to my email's account.

I thought that was Buddhism, actually. Isn't Nirvana a Buddhist thing?

Weird, because I remember a time in fourth grade, back when I was still considered a goodie-good, I started randomly lashing out at people--my hand would move without me even realizing it and then I would just feel the impact and hear the sound of me slapping somebody. Would that imply that I'm inherently a violent person?

I asked my dad if he would treat me differently if I were a boy once, and he said he'd hit me a lot more.
Anyways, have you heard of that couple that wanted a girl but birthed a boy, and then they made him get surgery to become a girl? At, like, three years old! The kid got totally messed up, and I think he ended up identifying himself as a boy anyway.

I suppose if somebody lived on a farm or something, having a boy could be beneficial for manual labor? (I asked my mother for this, so if I'm wrong sorry.)

Ha ha wow. I can barely look at those pictures of eyes science teachers show to make you wear goggles on the first day of school. STI images...oh jeez.

I dunno if tenth grade health is different from middle school health, but my middle school focused way too little on the whole sex part of health. My younger cousin who doesn't know how children are created still has no idea what sex is, even after two health classes.
Just asking though, when you say "implications", do you mean STDs or pregnancy or such? (Also, I'm trying to figure what it stands for, but I can't even get past the first letter.)

I'm a ninth grader. I'm taking a semester of health over the summer, since it's a tenth grade course.

Oh, me personally? I think I'm agnostic, but every time I look that up the definition changes. So basically, I don't really believe in God but I'm still unsure of how the world came to be (I know I'm not atheist though). I just think being morally correct is the way to go, y'know, don't be a jerk and just let people be. Does that answer your question?

Oh god, don't tell me they actually do that!
Imagine that on gun commercials. "if your mommy loves you, she'd be buying you this DSR-Precision DSR 50 Sniper Rifle RIGHT NOW!"
(I looked that up.)

I can just imagine a smiling crowd suddenly gasp in horror and my scandalous-ness.

Exactly! I mean, by the time I get to where ever it is I need to get to, I could be a techno-geek named Rupert or something.

I thought it was funny personally (you're in eighth grade? I thought you were the same age as me!) because they stressed it so much and my class was just like, "Whatever."

Most of my friends are super antisocial, so they don't it's weird at all :D

I always wondered though--y'know how every president except one has been sworn in on a bible? How would people react nowadays if, say, I was about to be sworn in as president and I didn't put my hand on a bible? (Not that I have any desire of running for president, but whatever ;)
