A Sky Beyond the Storm is purple cover of that helps Shaw.

I'm good if you write the captain's logs Shaw!
I'm still working on
A Sky Beyond the Storm; I suspect it will be my last book for the month....

True, that probably does fit better; I was hoping the attic door could be considered an access/entry point. There’s probably some portal fantasy books I want to read that could work, though. I’ll keep thinking about it, but anyone else feel free to take the prompt if you have a good idea!

That is a harder prompt - would
The Husbands work? The protagonist has a new life/husband every time someone goes into/comes out of her attic.

We only have a week left! I'm currently working on Anne of Green Gables and
A Sky Beyond the Storm (it is last book in the series so might work for that one on the mini, but I need to look harder at what we have left to see if it will fit more).
Ideally, I would also finish
Dreams of Gods & Monsters, which is on the spreadsheet, but I'm not sure if I'll make it since it is a longer book too.
How are we doing as far as finishing up Shaw? I see about 30 blanks on our official spreadsheet and only about 10 unfinished books on the tracking spreadsheet. Some maybe can be covered by UNO pixie? But how many more do we need do you think as a team? Are there any mini prompts you're worried about covering? Maybe instead of
Dreams of Gods & Monsters, I could find a shorter book that would fill a hole....

I don't know that I'd consider Anne of Green Gables as going on adventures. She has quite the imagination and takes great delight in church picnics, apple picking with her neighbor friend in their orchard, having guests to tea, etc. So kind of normal day activities that she makes more grand in her mind. She is very good at living in the moment and being mindful of the world/beauty around her.
P.S. I think it could work for humorous character which looks like it is still open

Kya is always on..."I've read Where the Crawdads Sing. Kya is definitely always on the move, but I feel like the prompt is expecting a larger geographical area so I'm not sure if it would fit for that. But 2018 is ages in my opinion!
It would also work for Debut Novel (Delia Owens has written nonfiction prior, but this was her debut novel according to goodreads).

I do remember the galactic recipes! That was fun. I don't think I knew about UNO for the adventure stories....

Checking in - I'm almost done with Recursion, but I'm waiting to finish until tomorrow so it will work for the mini. Next up is
A Reaper at the Gates - it works for Green 3 or 6 if anything needs to be moved around.
The last section looks interesting - I don't ever remember having to write something to get points!

I don't think anyone has signed up for the second Yellow 6 card? There was some gibberish in the square on the spreadsheet (I suspect my cat may have put it there) so if someone has claimed it, let me know and boot me out!
I'm going to read
Recursion.

Beatrice wrote: "Perfect! I also have
, which could work for 6 yellow."Excellent we need two yellow 6 cards, so I put this on the spreadsheet for the first of them.

I hope you like it as much as I did! There is a love story in it and I know you've said you don't like romance, but her writing is so beautiful in this book.
I
might have a purple cover - the last book in the Ember in the Ashes series is purple, but I'm a little worried that I'm being too optimistic about how far I'll get in all these series.

Ok, I've added all three to my TBR - thank you! I'm reading [book:Days of Blood & Starlight right now, but then I'll move to A Torch Against the Night and see how far I get on all of these...

I should also ask you Dawn, what was next on your fantasy TBR to read - I bet there is a gem there that I would like to read as well!

My plan for the month currently includes the last two books from the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, the last three books of the Ember in the Ashes series, and maybe even the last two books of the Fable series. I have them all checked out from the library - some for a while now - and I've decided this is the month to finish all these series. Although I imagine I won't quite get to all of them as I'd also like to do another color card or two.
I did really like Fable and Namesake.
Another to consider: 10 Thousand Doors of January by Alix E Harrow. I really really loved that book, if you haven't read it Dawn.

I see what you mean; there is a bunch of green in the grass in the middle.
Dawn and I have a lot of overlap in what we like to read as far as fantasy goes, so I'm sure I can find more books that she's read and loved if we need more reverses than naturally occur too.

Kamaria has read my blue 6 book, so maybe it will fit better as a reverse?

I’ve finished God of the Woods!
