2016 Authors of Color Challenge!
The challenge: devote half of your 2016 reading to authors of color.
I noticed in my own reading habits a paucity of books by people of color. I have a hunch I'm not alone in this trend. In 2012, for instance, only 3 of 124 books on the New York Times bestseller list were by authors of color (http://blog.leeandlow.com/2013/12/10/...).
