That is certainly a strong start for the Luminaries!
There are still many days to go, but I'm very surprised (and happy) that so many people want to read The Luminaries. I think the result of the poll is usually hard to predict beforehand anyway.
I just got my copy from the library :) Ready to start!
I will be posting the schedule later today
