This was a tough one. It was a toss up between Colonial America or American West, which is the one I finally chose!

It really quite puzzled me the sudden death of the American historical. There used to be quite a lot of them, then Civil War ones stopped and Westerns are gone too.

Yes, that is true. There are quite a few American-set inspirational historicals.
