What did christopher paolini write?
unfair to put JK in the same category as Emily Rodda & Garth Nix, those two wrote fantastic books before I had even heard of HP :P
My favorite out of those would be J.K. Rowling. However, I like Terry Pratchett more than any other writer, so I had to go with "other".
