Jon Voting opens at midnight on the Ides of March. You must be a member of the group to vote. I will close membership temporarily before I go to bed on the eve of March 15th (rough time-frame: between 8-9 p.m. Central on March 14, 2013).

If any more series are seconded this week (between March 10th and March 15th), I will update this poll to include them.

This poll will remain open for one week and the final run-off poll will begin immediately following the conclusion of this poll.

Thank you for all the great suggestions.

I didnt realize you were planning to do nominations for both reads....lol It was all WOT talk

message 3: by Jon (new)

Jon I was trying to save you the stress. But we can play it by ear. Or open up another nomination thread for the alternate series. Whatever you want to do is cool with me.

Snarktastic Sonja Too. Many. Great. Choices.

What to do. What to do.

message 5: by Kent (new)

Kent Calero I tried reading the first book of the black company, twice, maybe ill succeed the third time around but it's going to be rough.

message 6: by Jason (new)

Jason Man, I wish I could have picked my top 3. I didn't even vote for the one I nominated, lol.

message 7: by Jim (new)

Jim Proctor Is it too early to start an "Anti-Goodkind Alliance" for the second round of voting?

message 8: by Robert (new)

Robert Please, gods above, don't make me read the Sword of Truth again. I love the first many books, but the last three just absoultely kill be.

Gene Wolfe for KING! I haven't read this series yet, but its been on my list.

it's all good sandra...les stress is always good

there are a couple series here that I wouldn't do ( you can probably guess which ones)but there are a lot that would be good too

message 10: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey Way too many good choices. I voted for the series I nominated but I would not be disappointed if any of a half dozen of those choices won.

message 11: by Wastrel (new)

Wastrel Hopefully BOTNS can emerge as the candidate for the united 'short and interesting' party, against the behemoths...

message 12: by Todd (new)

Todd Darn, the one series I've already read is leading (though only by one vote!), and as much as I enjoyed it the first time, reading something again vs. reading something new, I always choose something new because there's just so much out there I want to read. Look forward to seeing the outcome of this *and* the alternate series! Very exciting.

Oops...think I'm going to have to take a month off to do all the reading I have planned.

well this is the first round. so we will have a run off of the top couple choices

I voted for Rai-Kirah -the first book was my first 5 star in a while! I am very excited to read the rest of the seriesTransformation
