I have really enjoyed the book series by Terry Pratchett and Bernard Cornwell, but the New Naturalist series by Collins is the one I obsess about the most, though I've only yet read a fraction of the ones I own. I feel these are probably somewhat off-topic compared to the other series listed though!

I voted Discworld as my favorite because not only has Terry Pratchett kept my interest in the series after 40 books, but the overall quality of his tales have gotten better as he goes along. A Song of Ice and Fire would be #1A... and if Martin actually lives long enough to finish the damn series, I might move it to #1.

I love Harry Potter so much but it's probably my third favorite series. I wasn't part of the generation that grew up with Harry potter and though I love it to bits I think I like The Infernal Devices and pjo a bit better.

Yes, it is. Lord of the Rings is a trilogy consisting of the Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and the Return of the King. The Hobbit is not part of that trilogy, but it is certainly a peripheral story within that trilogy.

Of course it is a series. The fate of the ring, as it travels from Hobbiton through to Sauron's Mt. Doom, occupies the plot of all three of them. That common plot line is what makes it a series.

I will concede that Tolkien wrote the collection as a single novel, but we all know that publishers extract their toll by making choices the author does not want. That happened here, too.

I scroll, and scrolled, and found, like, fifteen, so I picked the one where it said YOU WILL NOT MAKE ME CHOOSE! or whatever. Though, the ones on my list were: HP, Hunger Games, TID, Divergent, TMI, PJO, Vampire Academy, ToG (Maas all the way!!!), HoO, Dark-Hunters, AF, series of unfortunate events, Twilight, Gone series, ACOTAR (again- MASS ALL THE WAY!!!❤️) Red Queen, Wicked Lovely, and that is all that was listed.

The Holy Bible the Douay-Rheims Version. Because God is the Author of all things. And yes, The Bible Is a Catholic book (series of books). But, I would also choose The History of Middle Earth edited by Christopher Tolkien. And by the way, The Lord of the Rings is Not a trilogy. Duh, read the Note on the Text and The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.
