Without a doubt, it is being able to introduce myself as a writer. Several years ago I was given a sex-themed magnetic poety kit. I came up with some real stirring verse and soon after added poet to my resume. My qualifications for both titles are comparable.
In all seriousness, the best thing about being a writer, to me, is to have something tangible I can give to my patients and those struggling with sleep problems. Instead of being able to speak to one person at a time, I can reach many people at once. It's an absolute privilege.

Not so much a question as a comment...then my question... I'm on Ch 5, and excited for the rest of the book. My sleep quality has tanked over the last year. So much so, that I 'even' gave up alcohol for 30 days a couple months ago. Helped, but not a magic bullet. (Whew!) Also, thank you for not sucking as a narrator :) Many authors can't get away with that! Did you enjoy the process of narrating your book?
