Laurie
Laurie asked Allen Anderson:

Just wanted to share. I named our youngest male dog, Leif (spelled differently). I've never seen it before on a dog, but mine has a specific reason. My paternal grandmother came straight from Norway to the U.S. and could speak no English at that time. She had many struggles, but she persevered. This is my way of honoring my grandma since "leif" means "love" in Norwegian. Any special reasons for that name?

Allen Anderson Thanks, Laurie. We named our dog Leaf because when we took him on his first walk after adopting him, we saw that he loved leaves. Jumped into big piles of them by the lake.
