Mrs. Meissner. I have read two of your books. I Love the stories. In both stories there are characters with additional needs. One with what sounds like Autism. It makes me wonder if you have a person in your life with a developmental "disability"? I have a son with Down syndrome and Autism. You present them as the wonderful people they are truly. God Blessed our family with a new perception on the gift we have.

I want to see the value and gifts of each person because I do believe each one of us has those things, value and something we bring to the world. I am an observer of people. I loved The Fall of Marigolds which I just completed. interesting that the word fall in the title has several references both to the season of autumn(9-11: Clara's visit to NY: Taryn's visit with Mrs. Stauer) as well as the fall from the towers and fire. I need to ask if Eleanor is the woman to whom Clara gave the trunk? Again, I loved the book which was recommended to me by 2 friends. mboerio@cinci..rr.com
