Of all the Senary guys why did JJ make you write his story next?

Hi Annette!
I never really planned to write JJ's story next, it just came to me in a rush shortly before RtD was published. During my intern year, I had a patient go through a pretty horrific trauma (much like Lawan, the heroine in Black Bullet) and I honestly couldn't shake it from my mind for a long time. The entire experience inspired her character and I thought Jon would be the perfect hero for her. The story just unfolded from there and I couldn't stop writing it! Hence, Jon's story became book two in The Order of the Senary series. :)

OMG... I just read the first chapter of "Furious Angels" from your newsletter; talk about two opening scenes! Damn! I can't wait to read the 4th installment of the Senary series. If everything has calmed down on the disaster front (I hope you and your loved ones are well), do you have a guesstimate as to when the book will come out?
