What's the chronology in the books past the Silvan series? Same as the publication order (Order of Shirán -> Dawn of Adakia) or is that irrelevant? I'd be returning to the series and I want to avoid spoilers/anachronisms by choosing the wrong order.

Hi, i am 85% through book 2 and have a burning question for you. I wont post it on Facebook in case i see spoilers. Anyway i am wondering where and/or what is "The Valley"? The different ways its been mentioned made me think ok its where people go to die somehow?Or where dead people's spirits are?It seems to be a choice to go there?Oh and why dont they stop people becoming deviants to end that problem?
