Goodreads asked E.E. King:

What are you currently working on?

E.E. King a book about a wormhole between our world and another dimension- There are some places that are not real - but should be Oz, Narnia, Hogwarts, the 100-acre wood
Snodwallow is just such a place. It’s on the outlining rim of the galaxy in Betelgeuse and Omega-3 as the crow flies, but crows don’t usually make it. They have directional problems once they go beyond the stratosphere.
The simplest way to get to Snodwallow is through a wormhole in one of the subterranean tunnels underneath the Hall of Records on Temple Street. The warrens were built during the Prohibition for transferring liquor to speakeasies, now they’re mostly sealed off and said to be unsafe.
Some nights it’s easy to get there, an elevator appears, or a subway tunnel, illuminated by white-gold light, other times it’s like scaling an eel lined sewer.
No one knows why or when the connection will happen, except maybe Granny Turnbull. Granny Turnbull is often called one of the wisest women in either galaxy, but not to her face.
