First, your books are the reason that I am a passionate, avid reader. They were a challenge that I gratefully accepted, and I devoured each of them within a day or two. My question is this: Do you have any plans to remake the Eragon movie? It was awful, which I'm sure you know, but the books are so wonderful that they seem to demand proper cinematographic representation.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the books so much! Like you, I would love to see a relaunch of Inheritance Cycle films. The Fox movie studio owns rights to the property, so it’s up to the executives to green-light the project. I’m still encouraging them to make this happen, and you can be sure that I’ll let fans know if and when there’s news. May I ask you for some author advice? I am in the middle of writing my own fantasy book, but there is a bump in the road. There are some characters that I plan to introduce as companions for the main characters, but I cannot decide how best to introduce them. What would you recommend regarding this?
