I've recently just finished The Breakdown and it was beyond expectations. Does it feel frustrating when you write about and enter the minds of such sinister characters like Jack and Matthew in a way that you feel the need to distance yourself from reality in order to successfully write the story that you want? Also, is there a possibility The Breakdown might be optioned for film?

I'm so glad you enjoyed The Breakdown! I actually love getting into my characters' heads and I'm lucky in that as soon as I sit down to write, I'm able to cut myself off from reality fairly easily, so it isn't frustrating.
And yes, there is a possibility that The Breakdown might be optioned for a film!
