What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Bob MacKenzie For some reason, I am a magnet for the disenfranchised and the damaged - the homeless, those in deep poverty, those with psychological issues but functional enough to be on the street, those who are under the influence of drink or drugs. They come up to me as though they have known me for years and, perhaps because I don't just walk away but take the time to listen, they tell me stories.

The mystery is why these people are attracted to approach me.

So, as my character is walking down the street, a stranger in rags approaches him and tells a strange tale of murder and deception...
