What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Roger E. Bruner I'm afraid my life has not been a very mysterious one. However, I'm adopted and--because my adoptive parents got really upset at the idea of me trying to find my birth parents--I honored their wishes while they were both still alive. For whatever reason, I didn't look during the years since their deaths. Perhaps the potential mystery plot would not be a sudden desire to search for my biological past, but a revelation of some really strange reason why I chose not to.

As much as I enjoy reading suspense and an occasional cozy mystery, I don't believe I could write a mystery. But if I ever decide to try, I'll keep this idea in mind. *big smile*
