I love the way you incorporate real world issue into the romance and give the characters real challenges and address social issues all at the same time. I'm new to the genre but I'm rapidly learning to love low angst romance without a lot of stupidness from the characters. I just wondered what inspired you to choose Gay Romance? And of course when is Declan & Matty's story gonna be out?

Michele Notaro Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the stories. I chose gay romance because I absolutely love it. To me, the issues and drama in M/M books seem more realistic than other genres... in general, obviously not across the board. I also love how M/M has made me a more understanding and accepting person in my own life. It would be an amazing accomplishment if even one person became more understanding after reading one of my books. I think love is beautiful and everyone, no matter who you are or what's happened in your past, deserves to love and be loved. I truly believe that with all of my heart and I think writing gay romance helps me convey it.

At the moment, I do not have a timeline for Declan and Matty's story. I have some personal issues going on in my life, so it's hard to give any kind of date. I promise that I'm working on it and when I have a better grasp on a time-frame, I will post about it. If you're on Facebook, I have a group called Notaro's Haven where I've posted a few Dec & Matty teasers, and excerpts and other things from other WIP's. I will post some teasers for In One Breath in the blog part of Goodreads eventually, but probably not until I have a better idea on when I'll be able to publish it.
