Congrats on starting. That's the hardest part ;)
Um, basically...go with your gut. Love yourself. You have a tribe out there. If it excites you, it will excite others, so trust that. You'll find your readers.
Don't settle on the blurb, cover, or the story. You can't put a price on peace of mind, so stick with it, until you've got what you want. It's not fun releasing a book you know should be better.
Don't force it. If you don't love it, change it until you do. Writing is tedious enough without forcing something you hate ;)
And make sure you have editors. Professionals, not friends. Someone who's not afraid to make you cry.
Have fun and positive thinking! Picture yourself holding your finished paperback. It helps. Good luck!

I just want to say that you're writing is amazing! I just tea my first two books by you and OMG! I normally find books about younger people somewhat annoying, but you told such an amazing story with both Rival an falling Away...I can not wait to read more from you. In already have Corrupt as "Mark to Read. When will Corrupt come out?
