What an unusual question! I'm not sure I can think of anything too mysterious. The only thing that comes to mind is "how come I always get tangled up in stuff like Christmas tree lights and yarn and the garden hose"? Even Sherlock could not puzzle that one out!

Hi Cece, I'm hard of hearing so I LOVED reading El Deafo (recommended to my by my Girl Scouts!). I have never read a book where I was able to associate so well with the character. Are you thinking of writing more books with deaf or hard of hearing characters? Or do you have recommendations for other books with d/hh characters?
