This question was a hard for me, and I spent some time thinking of the answers. Over my life, I had several things that had happened that I believe would make a good plot for a book. I did settle on one thing.
When I was younger, my best friend died. At the time, I was not told what she died from because the disease was "looked down upon." My friend could not help that she was born with this and ultimately she did die from it. I believe that the time that we spent together, innocently enjoying our adolescence, and the terrible phone call my mother received when my friend passed away would make for a sad yet gripping novel.
