Hi Ms. Paris. Loved your book, Behind Closed Doors. I read a lot of books so is sometimes hard to remember all of them. I remember this novel and still is one of my favorites today if not my favorite. Where did you get the idea fir this novel? Did you know someone who went through a similar situation? I'm so glad that you enjoyed Behind Closeed Doors and that the story has stayed with you. I'm thrilled that it's one of your favourites! Some years ago, I had a friend who I thought was being 'controlled' by her husband, and I thought it would make a good idea for a story. But I didn't expect it to be as dark as it turned out to be. I often felt it was the characters who were writing the book, not me, and a lot of ideas came from them, especially Jack. He ended up taking over quite a lot!
