Hunter actually didn't say goodbye. Quinn asked him if that's where he was, but he just kind of shrugged and said "I'll be back on weekends." Like it wasn't necessary to say goodbye, he'd be back often.
Of course, he won't. Like she said, he'll find reasons to stay in Chicago, but I think it will make his reappearance after some separation more intense and great. I'm anxious to see how the brothers' relationship unfolds.
And I'm not sure if Dylan knows their problems are partly due to her. I personally don't think she would intentionally hurt them, so it will be very interesting to see how everything comes to a head.
