For my question, how do you come up with such interesting names? Like Pigpen, or Oz?

Coming up with the names in the Thunder Road series was a ton of fun for me.

No one gets to pick their road name. It is chosen for them by the club. A lot of times, they'll pick a name that might irritate them or a name that will make everyone smile at a memory.

Oz grew up in the club. Because of that, Olivia used to say that he had to feel like he grew up in a weird place--like Oz.

Pigpen is extremely good looking so they gave him a name that woman would laugh at.

Razor got his name because he's razor sharp--knowledge wise and with his attitude.
