Christy asked Heather Demetrios:

We know books are like children so it's hard to pick a favorite but which of your stories are you most proud of and why?

Heather Demetrios I would say it's I'll Meet You There, but Bad Romance is one I'm really proud of, as is the last book in my trilogy, FREEDOM'S SLAVE. All were really hard books to write for personal reasons and it often felt like a battle. They were emotionally draining and forced me to go to scary/uncomfortable/sad places. I'll Meet You There will always be the book of my heart and so it's my favorite, but Bad Romance is an offering and that makes it really important to me, too. I didn't want to write it - I wrote it because I knew there were girls in abusive relationships like the one I had in high school and I know a book like this would have helped me so much. I had to go back into my past, which was so hard and not remotely fun at all. And Freedom's Slave is special because it was the culmination of SO MUCH hard work and so many life changes. And I was so proud that I could see an epic fantasy through to the end.
