Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Colleen Busse My kids are adventurous boys and, after watching meteorite shows on tv, wanted to find a meteorite with their metal detector. As long as they're finding something that beeps they're having fun but their goal was a meteorite. My sci fi brain started wondering about a rock from space and where that could lead a story. What if there was more to this rock from space than just a rock. Hmm. And from that moment on a story was born.
