I did have a special music teacher, and Prim is very loosely based on her. She was an older lady and had that sense of magic about her, and as soon as I walked into her music room, it was as if anything bad that was happening in my life didn’t matter: now we had music. It was a very, very special time for me as I was a young teenager--about Kitty's age--and she taught me a lot about how you can put aside the bad things in the world and just let music carry you away.

I just finished listening to Chilbury Ladies choir and I never wanted it to end! Your writing is so expressive that you are immediately drawn into the village and the perils it’s citizens face with the onset of the German aerial attacks. I found the ensemble cast of narrators to be so talented that I felt like I was listening to a Masterpiece theater series. Congratulations and please write the screenplay for movie?
