Goodreads asked Judith Huang:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Judith Huang I write longhand with a fountain pen in my notebook for three pages of whatever comes into my head on days when I can't write. If that's all I can do that day, I take a break. Usually it helps me shift my thinking and get rid of the psychological detritus in my head.

You also have to fill the well. I could go for a walk, listen to some music, go to a museum, have a conversation with an inspiring friend, or look at some art. It may not work right away but it definitely does down the road.
