Totally cliché method of getting a story idea--I had a vivid dream.
In my dream, transplant program for organ donors extended to human brains--being transplanted to robotic bodies in order to ensure artificial intelligence of the future would be fitted with human motives--and thus less likely to turn on the biological population.
I had a lot of questions when I woke up--like how would that work? and all the ways it might go wrong.
