Goodreads asked Catherine Sharp:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Catherine Sharp I do something else until I hear the phrases and words coming back into my mind and then I know it's over. I have words and phrases running through my mind almost 24/7, which makes it very hard to sleep. I have a condition known technically as Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. I just always called myself a night owl. I can't sleep when it's dark but sleep fine during the day. I guess when was made, someone just put my clock in backwards. Another way, is to put yourself in that story...what would I do? What I say or react? It uwually works. Thanks for asking
