What are your favorite bookstores to visit and browse?

My favorite bookstore to browse is probably Nicola's in Ann Arbor MI, because it's my local independent store and I've been going to it in some incarnation or other since I was ten and had an allowance. Stretching it into two books was sometimes a challenge.
My favorite stores to sign in, (besides Nicola's) are the B&N's, because they run their events amazingly well, the staff is excited to have me in, and they're large enough to have an event space.
