Isn't Sanctuary (or any limani) basically the worst place to hide? Maybe not for Were-Hunters because it would be hard to track them through time as well as space. But everyone else is at a disadvantage because the only thing th bad guys need to do is plant someone to keep an eye on the place. So long as they don't harm anyone, they can't be kicked out, right?

Depends on what and who you're hiding from and which kind you go into. If you're talking a true lamina, you're screwed if you're a Were-Hunter. Those are astral openings between dimensions that can be used by Were-Hunters or Daimons. However, most go straight to Kalosis and into Stryker's main feeding hall. There the Spathi tend to chow down on you. Those are bolt-holes or portals the Daimons use to teleport back to Apollymi's realm or to their safe zones or colonies so not a good place for anyone other than the Spathi or Daimons to hide.
If you talking a Sanctuary or limani like the Were-Hunters use, then as noted, you can't be harmed, so it's a great place to hide. Has everything you need and no one can touch you. They're set up as safe zones where no blood can be spilled. That being said, there are entities you can hire who don't respect the laws of sanctuary who will go in and drag someone out so there's always some risk. And the owners could always snap a wheel -- such as Dante with his brother. Animals can be a bit unpredictable that way :) As can Savitar.

Hi Sherrilyn, greetings from a new fan of the Dark Hunter series from China! :) It is amazing how you manage to put something this original and powerful together - my question is, do you ever get "lost" while creating the entire framework of the series? How do you deal with your writer's block (if any) in terms of creating the background of the stories?

I've read all the DH books and was highly emotional after reading ACHERON. I read STYXX in one weekend. I could not put it down. I loved reading Ash and Styxx's story from the other POV. WOW! And the heartbreak made me cry like a baby. Did you intend to write both sides of the story or did the idea of writing Styxx's story come later? How long did it take you to write it?

Hi Sherri, Dragonbane I an excellent book as usual. My question has to do with King Lycaon, Sebastian and Damos. In Dragonswan Sebastian says that King Lycaon is his Grandfather, Damos Bio (DHC) he states King Lycaon is his great grandfather. Which is it? thank you.
