Oh my goodness, yes! Here's the rundown:
On Sept 12, I will release DEADZONE, the 2nd book of Scott Westerfeld's HORIZON series (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...)
On Feb 27, `18, I will release THE TRAITOR'S GAME, the first book of a new series. (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) That book is finished, but I am 40K words into writing book 2, almost halfway through the first draft.
In Sept 2018, I will release RESISTANCE, a WW2 era story based on the true story of Jewish teens in Poland who decided to fight back against the Nazis. (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) The book is about to head into copyedits, so it's about 95% completed..
And then I've pitched two other books to my editor. One is a thriller with a partial first draft underway, and the second is a historical still in concept form. I'll begin research for it in about three months and begin writing it as soon as TRAITOR'S GAME 2 starts into edits.
For me, the general rule of thumb is that I am almost always in every stage of writing: plotting, researching, writing, editing, and planning a release. Luckily, I love what I do, or I'd be exhausted!

Hi Mrs. Nielsen I was wondering is you’d write a number 4 for the Ascendance Trilogy ( wouldn’t be a trilogy if you did)?? They are my favorite books ever!!! I absolutely love them. I saw you’d answered another person question about this and asked how much we’d want a book from 0-10! I would say 10!!! I’d love more Roden maybe a new girl friend for him. Love more Jaron and Imogen more adventures.

Let’s say a movie for The False Prince was decided to be made into a movie; where would auditions be held, and where would the best place for shooting be done? This is all definitely a “what if. situation and not a “I-live-in-Montana-which-is-basically-Canada--let-me-try-out-just-give-me-the-papers-gosh-dignity-darn-it” situation.

Dear Jennifer A. Neilson, I love your books so much! The Ascendance series is my favorite book series ever! Could you please do a 6th book? Pleaseeeeee? Also, is there any way that I could get a signed book of the shattered castle? I would love that so much! -Ava Johnson
