I spent about three years researching, writing, and editing The Tea Girl. My first book, On Gold Mountain, is non-fiction. I've also written plenty of non-fiction for magazines, but even that was more in the past.

I just finished reading The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane. There are so many lessons that I took from this book, including you Acknowledgements. The insights I gain is that I must listen. Listen to my heart, dreams and intuition as this book started with a dream. I must put my who heart into whatever I do, even if it takes years to see it come to fruition. What did you mean by no coincidence, no story?
