I listened to Behind Closed Doors and The Breakdown in rapid succession. They were both so good and had me drawn in from the very first chapter. I am looking forward to your next book coming out. I hope you don't intend on stopping anytime soon because you have quickly become one of my favorite authors!! When you are writing, do you have a target audience in mind?

Hi, I'm so glad you enjoyed listening to my books! Don't worry, I have no intention of stopping writing, my third book Bring Me Back will be out next year and I'll be starting my fourth one soon.
I don't really have a target audience in mind when I'm writing, I just write what I want to write and hope that people like the end result. From messages I've received, I know that both men and women enjoy my books and to date my oldest reader was 93 and my youngest one 13 :)

Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my question! I have never read your book before, but look forward to in the near future, since I do think it's a little too mature for me, being a teen. I did want to ask, since I enjoy writing thrillers myself, how do you create that poignant, raw, hauntingly beautiful effect in a book? How do you put that level of emotion into words, easy for the readers to comprehend?
