Why is cry of the banshee a separate story instead of tied in with the main books? (The ending few chapters of Coyote Dreams was confusing before I googled it.)

Well, it is a tie-in with the main books, but it's in a separate volume because my publisher asked me to write a novella for the anthology WINTER MOON, to be paired with well-known writers Mercedes Lackey and Tanith Lee, as a method of helping to raise my profile as a debut novelist, so I wrote "Banshee Cries" for the anthology. :)

As a comic enthusiast, what was your first comic book and your favorite character. Just a side note: as your son seems to have an imagination to match yours, maybe you should invest in a tape recorder, so he can start taping his ideas as to characters. That would be so cool to replay a few years down the road and also maybe a future book idea for him or you.
