Hi Michael! I've just finished Age of Swords which I really enjoyed, and now I'm waiting for The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter and Age of War. I pre-ordered Age of Swords from Amazon because I couldn't find an option to pre-order the ebook directly from you. Will you make it possible to buy these ebooks as a preoder from you? I'm guessing it's more income for you, and the same book for me; win-win.

Hey Patricio,
Thanks for reading the books! I'm so glad you enjoyed them. So, here's the deal. I do offer pre-ordering of my books (signed copies even), directly from me. But I don't put them on my website because the booksellers frown upon authors "bleeding" off sales from them. So, what I do is offer them "by invitation only." That way it's a much smaller number and it's private. If you want to be put on the notification list, here is a link to sign up.
And yes, you are correct, buying directly from me does put a great deal more income in my pocket because the retail chain takes 50% - 60% off the top. I buy the books from my publisher, so they still get their cut, and buying direct means more of your hard earn cash stays with me, the creator.
When we are closer to the Age of War release, the private pre-order page will be posted, and you'll get an email. As for The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter, well, that we'll hold a Kickstarter for (so we can get hardcover copies) and you should be able to get copies directly from me or via the Kickstarter.

Hi there! I started reading your work with Age of Myth and fell in love with it. I consequently gobbled up the next two with joy. However, there will be a gap between last released and the rest of the series. I want to jump into the Riyria Chronicles but will it be a spoiler of the Legends of the First Empire? Since Legends is basically history before Riyria Chronicles? Thank you!

In regards to Kickstarter and the Disappearance of Winter's Daughter. I absolutely love having your previous books in hardcover and your Death of Dulgath kickstarter was handled so well. You've been updating the writing progress side of things over on the book page [and thanks for that!] but am wondering about how a Kickstarter and hence a hardcover, is looking? Thank you.
